The special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) Local Offer are excited to announce a series of ‘Local Offer Discovery Day’ events, which will take the online Local Offer onto the road and into YOUR community. These events will give families, young people and professionals the opportunity to learn more about the support available for children and young people with SEND. This is the first time we have run events of this kind, and we are asking for your support to help raise awareness amongst families who will benefit most. Please note, the events are open to ALL families and professionals.
Over the coming days, you will receive printed ‘Local Offer Discovery Days’ leaflets for all children in your school who are on SEN Support or who have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
